Bartolo Colon (2-0, 2.25 ERA) was the 2005 AL Cy Young award winner and has made a successful return to the majors from the elbow injury that curtailed his 2007 season, giving up a total of three runs over 12 innings to win his first two starts in a Boston uniform. Colon is 8-6 with a 3.27 ERA in 17 career starts versus Baltimore (26-28).

Brian Burres (4-4, 4.15) gave up eight runs and a career-high 10 hits -- including four homers -- Tuesday in only 3 2-3 innings vs. the Yankees. Burres won his only career start against the Red Sox although he was not dominant. He yielded two runs over five innings while scattering seven hits and five walks as the Orioles won 6-3 at Boston on May 11, 2007.

Saturday's loss was the third straight and eighth in 10 games for the Orioles, who have fallen from third place to last in the AL East -- seven games behind leader Tampa Bay -- during their slump.

The Redlegs look like they have a good Player coming along in Jay Bruce. Since his callup he is 13 for 22 thusly Batting .591 w/2 Homers and 6 RBI sparking the Reds to recent victories.
