1. TB- Buster Posey C/Fla St: The Rays are down to Posey and T Beckham. Posey will cost them more but reach the majors quicker,while Beckham is the better long term prospect.
2. Pit- Pedro Alvarez 3B/Vandy: The Pirates are down to Alvarez,Posey and Beckham. Team President is said to covet Alvarez in order to send a message to the fans that the decision to pass on Wieters won't be repeated. However,Alvarez struggled in front of the Pitt brass during the SEC tournament and they might be waffling.
3. KC- Eric Hosmer 1B/ HS: The Royals had sworn off Boras after last years negotiation with Moustakas but they have apparently decided one more for the road after seeing his tremendous upside as a hitter. Matusz is also a consideration
4. Bal- Tim Beckham SS/ HS: The O's have been on Beckham,Matusz and Smoak all spring and would be delighted if Beckham, the drafts top talent, fell to them.
5. SF- Justin Smoak 1B/South Carolina
6. Fla- Yonder Alonso 1B/Miami
7. Cin- Aaron Crow P/Missouri
8. Chi- Gordon Beckham SS/Georgia
9. Was-Kyle Shipworth C/HS
10.Hou-Brian Matusz P/San Diego
