The guy is a great reliever....so far. Starter? I think the yankees FO is nuts making him a starter. Joba/Rivera is the best setup/close combo in the league.

Will he go 3 innings? Riveria warming up. Yankee are not making a lot of sense to me. If Joba is going to start he needs innings. and they are leading so why user MR?

| Walker is really struggling. He is a candidate to be dealt at the trading deadline, but he is due $4.5M in 2009.
Never fear. Baez will be back in 2009 at $5.5M.
Gotta love those Flanagan signings.

Gotta love those Flanagan signings. No way, we cut Jay G lose last year we'll cut Baez next cause we have plenty of cash in the piggy bank.

It would have been close. Walker falls to the third base side after the pitch.

| Joba is throwing hard in the bullpen. Why didn't he start the 9th? | |

It would have been close. Walker falls to the third base side after the pitch. Walker falls toward 3rd. he couldn't beat Damon to first if Damon jogged. Walker broke with the swing and was still 5 ft late.
