I’m not including the information on the Twins vs. O’s because it is too depressing to read. Suffice it to say the Twins OWN the O’s.

In the 1st inning, Liz is thinking to himself on the mound:

“wow, I like this Markakis guy in right field. Nice catch! Didn’t see that in AAA”

“glad Scott is in left field instead of Payton so bloop hits don’t fall in front of him”

“as tall as Mauer is, I can still throw it high for ball 4”

“ I smoked Morneau. Call me Joba!”

"this major league pitching isn't so hard!"

Let's hope Liz Wins!

So far Liz is working very quickly and with the exception of a couple batters, keeping the ball down and throwing strikes. He looks like a completely different pitcher from last year.

Liz looks awesome. I think once he got through the first inning, he just seemed to have a lot of confidence. If he keeps this up, we may have a new #5 starter (or maybe #4 if Burres doesn't get it turned around soon)!

I loved to see Roberts Triple...exciting to see!

Yep, let's hope BRobb does more of that this month! This is a well-pitched, well-played game for the O's.

O's up 4-0 in 6th. Liz has been amazing thus far but he may be getting tired.

Yet another baserunning blunder cuts a potential rally short. Other than that, it’s been a solid team performance by the O’s tonight. Everyone in the lineup (except Huff) has at least 1 hit.

With the stinkin Yankees losing 9-3 and the O’s winning, we could push the highest payroll in baseball back down into last place.

Good game. Good win for the O’s.

Liz is impressive and gets the win. Sherrill does great and gets his 19th save (more than Papelbon or Rivera, 2nd in MLB to Francisco Rodriguez of LAA with 22).

Cabrera on the mound tomorrow night so a good chance for the O’s to keep winning.

Yankees are in last place. Hoorah!

I really like the links for the scoreboard and standings. Very handy. It's a bother sometimes to go through the Sun's website. Some of the other's are a pain, too. Thanks! The message board is really coming along.
